Located in the San Fernando Valley of California bordering Calabasas, Hidden Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains, Woodland Hills has evolved over the years from a suburban area filled with trees to now a destination for both people and businesses – Amazon Fresh launched their first location in Woodland Hills, the Los Angeles Rams are now headquartered there, and the list goes on.
Burke Williams is excited for this growth and in the early days while Westfield was planning/building the Topanga Village (about 10 years ago) we decided to take the plunge and became one of the anchor points of the new mall and still remain there today. And having those deep roots in the neighborhood before it boomed is what led to this blog post.
Outside of our luxury day spa in Woodland Hills, what else is happening in the neighborhood, what are some of the common questions we get, and where do we see things going in the future? Let’s dig in more.
First and foremost, it’s important to note the culture of Woodland Hills, which is situated next to Topanga Canyon has always been known for its eclectic vibes – being a part of music history – and many artists have called Topanga home over the years.
Additionally, if you live in Woodland Hills and enjoy outdoor sports whether you’re surfing at the classic spot near Topanga and PCH, riding your bike through the canyons (Dirt Mulholland) or hiking the local trails it’s nice to have a local way to relax/recharge, and that’s what we realized early on.
Ranging from interest in the neighborhood to specific things we’re being asked now, below is a quick breakdown of common questions related to Woodland Hills:
What makes Woodland Hills special?
With easy access to freeways like the 101 and close proximity to nature, a quick drive to the beach (Malibu), great schools and a family-oriented community, it makes sense why people are moving away from LA-proper to experience a whole new world.
What will Woodland Hills be in the future?
As the neighborhood continues to evolve and become less of a sleepy, quiet suburb we can see Woodland Hills shifting to more of a hub of business/life which is why many developers are flocking to the area and not only developing/renovating single-family homes but also building new apartments nonstop. This also ties back to the Woodland Hills 2035 Plan which is infusing over $1B.
Where to relax in Woodland Hills?
From the many coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, parks and other ways to relax, there’s also something special about taking some time for you to turn everything off and simply focus on recharging. And that’s where Burke Williams shines.
What is the best massage, luxury day spa in Woodland Hills?
