Everyone loves the beach and there’s something special about the fresh air combined with the element of relaxation that makes West Los Angeles special, though historically due to traffic, lack of public transportation, parking, etc. sometimes taking that journey becomes difficult, yet times are changing.
Unlike many cities that took the public transportation plunge/investment many years ago (NYC), Los Angeles has been falling behind though the future has big things in store, which will be beneficial for locals as well as businesses.
First of all, the E Line (formerly known as the Expo Line) was really one of the first initiatives in a long time to bring destinations together in a more effective/efficient way by connecting Downtown Los Angeles to West LA (Marina del Rey, Santa Monica, etc.).
Also, with the Olympics being held in Los Angeles in 2028 and taking a revolutionary “car-free” approach the need for improved public transportation is skyrocketing now, which will also provide new job opportunities for people in a wide variety of areas whether you’re a chef working at a restaurant, doctor commuting between hospitals or a massage therapist that wants to work in West LA near the beach.
In the near future we anticipate both the E Line and construction/infrastructure for the 2028 Olympics producing a wide variety of job opportunities across the board in many industries including hospitality, travel and so much more.
And Burke Williams is now hiring not only massage therapists at our Marina del Rey and Santa Monica locations but also members of our team that help manage customer interactions at the front desk, are knowledgeable about our H2V line of products, help support our luxury day spa behind the scenes and so much more.
